Climatic conditions of the municipalities of Água Doce, Videira, and Curitibanos - Characterization - harvest 2020

Resumo

The variables analyzed refer to precipitation, temperature, and relative humidity, collected throughout the 2020 harvest. The meteorological stations are located in the municipalities of Videira/SC, Curitibanos/SC, and Água Doce/SC. The objective of this work was to characterize the climatic behavior of three regions based on the variables collected in the meteorological stations. In Água Doce, rainfall was 1,901.69 mm, with a variation from 371 to 33 mm of rainfall per month, the place with the highest coefficient of variation among the three locations, with a 66% the coefficient of variation between the observed months. The municipality of Videira had a reduction in the volume of rain, having rained 1,558.80 mm. monthly rainfall ranged from 324 to 19 mm. In Curitiba, annual rainfall of 1,629.40 mm was recorded, ranging from 235 to 30 mm per month. Among the evaluated municipalities, Curitibanos had the lowest monthly rainfall variation with a coefficient of variation of 51% and the highest average relative humidity of 87.46%. The second municipality with the highest monthly average humidity was Água Doce with 82.86%, and the lowest relative humidity was found in Videira, with a relative humidity of 78.27%. The municipality of Água Doce presented a coefficient of variation of an average monthly temperature of 16%, and the average monthly temperature in this period was 16 °C. The minimum temperature observed in Água Doce was in July 2020 at -4.20 °C. The maximum temperature recorded was observed in October 2020 at 32.52 °C. Curitibanos presented an average monthly temperature variation coefficient of 16%, and the monthly average temperature was 19 °C.
